Nature is one of my most favorite subjects to shoot, because I find the wonders of mother nature absolutely exhilarating. The colors, textures, and hues are truly awe inspiring. So, when I got the opportunity to visit Keukenhof in Amsterdam, also known as the Garden of Europe, and one of the world's largest flower gardens, I felt like a child in a candy store. Even after having spent the whole day in the gardens and going completely berserk with my camera, I felt as though I could stay there forever in admiration.
These Viridiflora Tulips are one of the most elegant and stylish bi-colour Tulips on the market. Viridiflora comes from the Latin words 'viridis' meaning green and 'flos' meaning flower. Combined they represent the wonderful blend of colours, enough to brighten even the darkest day in spring.
Since these flowers and their colors, even in these photographs look so pleasing to the eye, I thought of translating them on to small 12" x 12" canvases, which could truly add value to small spaces and could even be bought for gifting purpose. And these prints can even be re-printed to larger sizes for larger spaces.
To create a stretched canvas print, the photograph is printed directly onto an artist-grade cotton canvas and stretched around 1.0" wooden bars. There is also the option of buying each stretched canvas with a frame where the canvas is flushed inside a wood finish PVC floating frame.
